The Miami Dolphins will be looking to crack into the win column with their scheduled Week 3 showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football. The season has been a mixed bag thus far for the Dolphins on offense, so where should they look to build and where must they likely pivot as they continue to find their groove and rhythm with the ball? Here’s our best crack at where the Dolphins should look to construct their offensive game plan for Week 3.
Attack the Jaguars’ speed & aggressiveness
Jacksonville has a young roster filled with potent athletes up front. Josh Allen, K’Lavon Chaisson, Myles Jack, Taven Bryan and others are all former high draft choices who offer plenty of explosiveness. The Dolphins would be wise to look to sucker them into false keys and hope to pop off gains behind them as they’re sucked out of position. That may be extra play action, false keys in the running game via pulling guards or delay/draw runs that bait the Jaguars’ front seven up the field.
