The story of the first half in Starkville between Mississippi State and Texas A&M was how dominant the Aggies were. At the halftime break, Texas A&M is on top 14-0 and the Bulldogs haven’t even managed to record 100 yards on offense. But there was a non-football story that went a bit unnoticed.
During the first half, two women wearing shirts with the “PETA” logo on them ran onto the field and appeared to be protesting with signs. They were quickly stopped and removed form the field.
You can see video from the stands below. While the individual closer to the camera is stopped somewhat calmly, it appears that the individual on the far side of the field was hit with a rather hard tackle, based on the reaction from the crowd and the wire photos of the incident.
