Vikings Release 1st Injury Report Before Week 6 Game At Panthers

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings listed 12 players on their first injury report ahead of Minnesota’s Week 6 road game against the Carolina Panthers (3-2).

WR Adam Thielen (foot), WR Justin Jefferson (ankle), LB Anthony Barr (knee), DT Michael Pierce (elbow), TE Ben Ellefson (knee) and RB Alexander Mattison (shoulder) did not participate. Neither did DE Everson Griffen, but the reason for them was “not injury related-resting veteran.”

RB Dalvin Cook (ankle), FB C.J. Ham (quadriceps) and WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette (toe) were limited. S Harrison Smith also was limited, with the 32-year-old receiving at least part of a vet day.
