The Miami Dolphins announced today they have activated defensive tackle Christian Wilkins off the reserve/COVID-19 list. In eight games this season, the 2019 first-round draft choice has 28 combined tackles, a sack, two tackles for loss, five passes defensed and an interception. He’s played 369 snaps on defense and ranks fourth among defensive tackles in ESPN’s Run Stop Win Rate at 42 percent.
Wilkins re-joins a defensive line that has seen surge in production from rookie defensive tackle Raekwon Davis. Davis played his second-highest snap count of the season in Denver (49 compared to 50 in Week 8 vs. the Rams) and earned the highest Pro Football Focus grade of his career. His 89.9 grade – out of 100 – was the highest on the Miami defense in the Week 11 game.
