Josh Heupel is getting his first taste of the Tennessee football vs. Alabama rivalry.
The Vols (4-3, 2-2 SEC) play at No. 4 Alabama (6-1, 3-1) on Saturday (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Eye on the injuries
Tennessee is headed into its eighth straight game before hitting its open week. The Vols’ health reflects that.
Notably, four of UT’s best offensive players are battling injuries: quarterback Hendon Hooker, running back Tiyon Evans, and offensive linemen Cade and Cooper Mays.
“He’s still day-to-day at this point,” Heupel said regarding Hooker’s status on the SEC teleconference Wednesday. “Getting some work on the field (in practice). As we get to the end of the week, we’ll know if he’ll be available for this one.”
