The Texas A&M offensive line was not exactly a bright spot last season. Though running back Isaiah Spiller finished with the second-highest rushing total for a true freshman in school history, the total offense for the Aggies was down close to 80 yards a game from the season prior.
There were moments in which the line flashed as a group and A&M has four of the five starters returning in 2020, but the unit is the one on the team that fans might be the most worried about heading into a year full of optimism.
SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic recently listed his top five offensive tackles in the SEC and, a bit surprisingly, there was an Aggie on the list.
Carson Green is entering his senior season in College Station. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder started every game each of the past two seasons after making four starts as a true freshman in 2017. Needless to say, with 30 starts under his belt, Green definitely has some experience.
