Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs just finished the best year of his NFL career, but it turns out he almost got sent to the New England Patriots.
Diggs spent his entire career with the Minnesota Vikings before being traded to the Bills last offseason, and he went on to lead the NFL in receptions with 127. He also had 1,535 receiving yards with eight scores, quickly becoming quarterback Josh Allen’s sidekick in the dangerous Buffalo offense.
However, the Patriots almost traded for Diggs, which would have certainly made the Bills season different .
The Bills and Patriots were the final suitors for the talented receiver when the Vikings were looking to trade him, and Bill Belichick and company probably aren’t too thrilled that they lost him to their AFC East counterpart.
