The Kentucky Wildcats whipped the Tennessee Volunteers in impressive fashion today, 34-7.
But late in the first half, Kentucky had a serious injury scare when nose guard Quinton Bohanna went down with a leg injury. Bohanna was down on the ground in pain for a few minutes before being helped off the field without putting any pressure on the injured leg.
With just a couple minutes left in the half, Bohanna was put on a cart and immediately taken into the UK locker room. Anytime the cart is out, the fear is that it’s a significant injury that could put a player’s season in jeopardy.
Thankfully, it appears Bohanna will eventually return to the field for Kentucky.
After the game, Bohanna announced on Twitter that he’s fine and will be back.
