MADISON, Wis. — Just ahead of fall camp, which opened on Wednesday, Wisconsin released its roster for the 2020 college football season. Here’s a look at the notable position changes for the Badgers since 2019.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, media will not be granted access to practices this fall and all interview sessions will be conducted over ZOOM. The Badgers will get things underway on Oct. 24 against Illinois at Camp Randall Stadium.

After playing defensive end last season, junior CJ Goetz is now at outside linebacker. Goetz was originally recruited and began his career at inside linebacker. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 241 pounds, Goetz earned his first letter last season, playing in all 14 games. He saw action primarily on special teams.
