LOS ANGELES – No. 20 USC cashed in on more luck for the 2020 season with its second comeback victory of the season on Saturday, a 34-30 comeback win over Arizona. The Trojans (2-0) will look to keep their undefeated season going against the defending Pac-12 South champion Utah (0-0) in a critical road game in Salt Lake City.
The Utes on the other hand are finally on track to get a game in after their first two games of the season were canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, including a breakout among the Utes. USC has the big advantage of two games under its belt; Utah also lost a slew of starters from its 11-win season in 2019, including the QB, RB and entire secondary.
This series has been a fierce one this decade, frequently deciding the front runner for the Pac-12 South. The home team has had the clear advantage the last several seasons, winners of the last six matchups. The Trojans have not won in Utah since 2012, a 38-28 victory. USC took last year’s game, a surprising 30-23 victory in the Coliseum.
