The Giants finally have a 2020 schedule just in case there’s a 2020 season, and Dodger Stadium appears to be their second home.

Opening Day is July 23 at Dodger Stadium, the start of a four-game series, and the Giants are back at Chavez Ravine two weeks later for a three-game set.

Because teams play their division foes 10 times apiece, that leaves just three games against the Dodgers at Oracle Park — Aug. 25-27.

Which means 12 percent of the Giants’ schedule is at Dodger Stadium, seven of 60 games. Conversely, the Giants play the Diamondbacks seven times at home and three times on the road.

Not exactly a balanced schedule. Major League Baseball chose for division teams to face off in three series instead of two or four, which would have allowed the Giants to play the Dodgers five times in San Francisco and five in Los Angeles.
