DGA (Developing Great Athletes) is hosting a three-day mini-camp from July 1st to July 3rd in Brentwood (Tenn.) that is being billed as a ‘Battle of the States’ with prospects from Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama and Kentucky attending.
While that competition is what drives the event, the goal for founder Daryl Graham, who has worked with NFL players like John Kelly and Mike Weber, is to give the athletes a peak into what college athletics are like.
“The basis of the event is to give high school athletes a true college experience,” Graham said. “Late night and early morning training and teach them the values that will help prepare them for the future. Rest, and mentally prepare for work.”
