Coronavirus update: 20-39 year olds represent 40 percent of state’s COVID-19 cases

Washington state officials reported nine new COVID-19 deaths Tuesday and over 325 new cases as the state continues to battle the virus.
The Washington Department of Health reported 327 new COVID-19 cases and nine additional deaths, bringing the state’s death toll to 2,015 since the pandemic began.
7,127 people have been hospitalized with the virus, according to the Washington Department of Health.
Health officials said 40 percent of the state’s COVID-19 cases are people between 20-39 years old.
