The Arizona Cardinals have officially cut rookie receiver Jeremiah Braswell on Monday after he was arrested for allegedly driving his car into Lake Erie while intoxicated. According to WFMJ, the former Youngstown State wide receiver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, as a breath test showed that his blood alcohol levels were above the legal limit.

According to a release, Put-in-Bay Police responded to a call around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday about a car that drove into Lake Erie. Police say an orange Camaro was off the embankment and in the water when they arrived, and that no bystanders were injured during the incident. Witnesses also told officers that the driver was still in the car trying to drive it while it was in the water. When officers approached Braswell, he allegedly told officers that he was stuck and did not know what had happened.
