Buffalo Bills rookie Spencer Brown could ‘Wally Pipp’ starter at offensive tackle

Spencer Brown endeared himself to the Bills Mafia by dropping a picture-perfect elbow through a table shortly after being drafted by the Buffalo Bills.

His play during his collegiate career at Northern Iowa (32 starts) and throughout Senior Bowl week is what endeared Brown to at least one popular NFL draft analyst though.

NFL Network’s Charles Davis recently raved about the Bills’ third-round pick when chatting with Chris Brown and Steve Tasker on One Bills Live earlier this week. Despite projections all over the board over Brown’s readiness, Davis believes Brown has the ability to make an impact as a rookie. Just how much does Davis like Brown as a prospect? He predicted pre-draft that Brown would start 10 or more games as a rookie.
